As an auto glass technician you will learn to:

• Conduct windshield replacement and rock chip repairs by using proper tools and techniques to ensure efficiency and timeliness.
• Perform mobile jobs. 
• Cut, sand and install flat laminated glass.
• Replace all moldings, clips, windshield wipers, and any other parts that were removed prior to glass replacement or repair. 
• Accept payment information, complete the billing process and assist customer with insurance process.
• Maintain accurate records of shop's schedules, quotes and work orders.
• Work with Call Center Representatives to resolve issues pertaining to work orders, incorrect parts ordered and customer updates. 
• Operate a variety of hand held tool. 

Preferred skills:

• Familiarity of general office equipment
• Microsoft Office skills
• Auto glass or body shop experience is a plus

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and work ethic
• Must pass pre-employment drug test
  
• Background check will be performed
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record according to company policy

Working requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds. 
• Considerable physical exertion required involving bending and stooping, pushing, twisting, lifting, and pulling. 
• Require standing, walking, using hands, climbing stairs, lifting or moving up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate a variety of hand held tools. 
• Exposed to moderate levels of heat, cold moisture and wetness from working in and out of the shop. 
• Use chemicals such as adhesives, cleaners, solvents and glass reactive primers.
